Mom before dad...
 

Why do people say "My mom and dad" always in that order? Does anyone here say "My dad and mom"? Kind of wierd no? What would Dr. Freud say about this anomaly?

Actually I think subconciously that has alot to do with it. I was just having a stoner thought this morning and thought I would share. :rasta

Cause Mom gave birth to you and deserves more respect

Because moms were there to protect/defend you when you were getting a beating from your dad.

Because it just sounds better. It's fish and chips, not chips and fish, Tom and Jerry, not Jerry and Tom, and mom and dad, not dad and mom.

hmmm, I always say my Father, and Mother.

My Father is gone though maybe that's why he moved to first.
