server problem :(

my sites (server) respond very slow.. when i open mysite.com the are passing 2-3 sec. befoure the site begin to load.. i think there is a problem in my server configuration (maybe the dns)..
anybody know any else causes that can be?

Check and make sure the apache (httpd.conf)
MaxClients is not maxed out.
