Everything they do bears the 'trump' brand name.

Mainly his hotels, golf resorts, casinos and buildings in the NY area. They all have the 'Trump' name on them, literally.

In the first season of The Apprentice they were even marketing a brand of bottled water called "Trump Ice" LOL .. I don't know if that was a joke or what but it was still pretty pathetic.

The brand of bottled water is true, I've seen it.

It has the cheapest low quality label on the bottle that I've ever seen. Looks like the kind of stuff you would buy from a dollar store. The graphics on the label look like they were made by a 12 year old that just got Paint Shop Pro for Christmas.

I knew of Trump, but until I saw The Apprentice I figured he was just another real estate guy.

BTW, that fanfare as he comes down the escalator (on season 2) is absolutely ridiculous.

Hell, i've never been to the US. Trump's name is known worldwide by the masses. They may not know what he does or much about him, but they know the name. Whether or not they know his "brand" is another thing. Personally, the only thing i know about the guy is his golf courses, hotels, casinos and TV show. I didn't even know he was selling suits until he shamelessly plugged the fact on his show.

He is the epitome of capitalism. He's no Bill Gates, but in terms of worlwide notoriety for business, he's probably the closet thing alongside with Richard Branson.
