Has anyone here ever registered for a permit to protest or peacefully assemble...
 

...in any jurisdiction in the US? Or have any of you peacefully assembled or protested in public for anything, and what legal ramifications (if any) did you suffer?

Yes it did, but not on purpose...but hey Bub's you already told me about the "thing", and I want to do it. I don't know if I can stay calm, but I will try.


On other thought, maybe I can just make the signs! :)

Hummm it would be more appropriate to get a permit to have a violent demonstration than a peaceful one.
