Web Cams
 

Hey I need to get a couple of webcams set up to communicate with my family. With Baby RedShoe on her way, I'm sure they'll want to peek in on her every once in a while.

I don't know shit about webcams.

So please advise me on which ones are the best and why.

being an "exhibitor", I know alot about webcams LOL

dont buy any webcams from WalMart!! lol

I use Logitech QuickCam and its the best! it cost $90 , easy as FUCK to use, takes videos, still pics & of course a great live feed.

DO NOT BUY Logitech QuickCam Express (about $40) its a shitty cam! I say, any cam over $80 is a good cam!

You can also get a cheap video capture card like Dazzle DVM and use it with a camcorder for a cam yahoo chat now supports video chat also.

Yeah those cheap logitecs suck pretty bad in teh image quality dept. I have two of them (actually they are the old Connectix, i think logitec bought them out.)

... yes, stay away from logitech webcams, they completely suck. I got mine from arowana, not a really wellknow manufator, I know ... but I was amazed about the quality they produce, similar to $600 devices. their cameras cost pretty much the same like logitech, but they are so much better ...
