photoshop/image ready question
Why can't I save anything smaller than 4 k.
If I have a 1k gif when I save it, it's always 4k. There has got to be a preference, but I can't figure out what the fuck is going on. |
That's very odd.
I just re-installed PS (so all the settings are default) and I have never seen that problem. |
Weird, you should be able to if the original is 1k, unless you're adding extra color to the image.

I know it's pissing me off. I can't for the life of me figure it out. It's photoshop cs on a g5 mac.
For fucks sake, it has to be something simple. |

You doing file> save for web?
If so it has settings in there to adjust it down, also check to see if for a fact the filesize when you save is that big. there are a couple of tabs at diffrent compressions so maybe you are looking at original. |

tried all those. Guess it's a call to Adobe in the morning. Must be some sort of bug, as it's doing the same thing on both of my comps.
