Web Designers : How do you charge for your work?
 

In the non adult world? I have been doing some free work for an organization, when I expressed to them that I was going to have to limit my donated time, they offered to pay me for my services. The only problem is how do I charge? I've never done any design work for pay..only for myself and for free to a few people. I am totally lost. This works takes about 10 hours a week consistently.

by the project for one offs and hourly for long term stuff

time spent on it, quality... etc.

$1 per square centimeter of graphic design. Only way to go.

You can try to count out how much you would like to charge per our and then multiply that by 10 hours

thanks guys. i am pretty sure I am going to bill hourly. i just have no idea what to charge. i provide them with the equivalent of managaed hosting plus 10 hours of pretty basic website updating
