Is Vegas show a waist of time??
 

I'm sure this subject as been posted before.

I want opinion's of webmasters who atended?

waist or worthed?

If you are going to get business done its well worth it.

If like 95% of GFY'ers you are going to get laid, high, fed and drunk then its not worth it.

any show is a waste of time if you dont come home with any buisness from it

The show is awsome best place to do biz. Great partys and awsome hot babes, did I mention our very cool t shirts that we will be giving away at the show booth 751.

Who do we need to contact at CE about sponsorship of our gay marketing events in Vegas?

We had emailed with Noga a few times but never heard anything back from her.

We have one sponsorship option left and want to make sure all the big guys get a chance to showcase their products and services at our events :)

none of the conferences are a waste of time...its very important to go to these if your in the adult business on a serious note....

meet the affiliates your promote to see who you are working with, get ideas, make friends, make business deals, etc....how can all that be a waste of time?

total waste of time, i never do any business or meet anyone at them. Nothing but loosers and people who don't have a clue about this business goto the shows. I suggest you stay home and prove to everyone you're much better than everyone else in the adult online business while I goto vegas.

I would strongly have to disagree with that.

The best show of the year by far is The Phoenix Forum.

We always come back from that show with more business than the Vegas and Florida shows combined.

Any of these events provides the opportunity for you to do great business. It's simply a matter of what you make of them... it's up to you what you do with your time when surrounded by hundreds of prospective clients. It's a good idea to go in with a strategy/ plan to avoid falling off-track in all the excitement. :thumbsup

As far as getting business done, don't get overly excited about all the new business you seem to be picking up at the show. People are in a great mood and will agree to do business with you when you meet in person.

At least 90% of it will never come to fruition. The other 10% will be worth it, however. I once picked up a new client worth 6 figures a year while at Internext. Our relationship has grown even larger since that time. Now, you could divide the dollar amount that this particular client spends with me each year by 2 and the amount would STILL be 6 figures.

So, is it worth it to go to Internext? Nah. Not at all.
