Love the first one. Agree with vitasoy, second one was not so good. If you want to see another insane japanese flick you gotta see "Versus." You'll love it.

battle royale is great. the same director has some other sweet movies to; checkout "Brother" he also did "Zatoichi" and you may also recognize him on his television show what is known in the U.S. as Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC) on spiketv.

as for ichi the killer, takashi miike kicks ass. i havent seen all of his movies but the ones i have seen were pretty awesome. audition, dead or alive 1,2,3, etc. imdb takashi miike and beat takashi

Bi Chun Moo - This one is korean but very good ( I'd put that in the Hero category (Jet Li)

Ichi The Killer is another great one. Make sure you get an unedited version.

volcano high school is a great Korean flick. Heck MTV even made a remake dubbed verison
