In a way I think he does but then again there is no evidence in the case that im aware of that shows hes 100% guilty, I mean if I were convicted of that crime, I would want to be put to death as soon as possible, who wants to rot in jail and get rapped all day???Why would he appeal, he's already fucked!! Give him the shot and get on with it!!Does he deserve to die...?

It doesnt matter whether or not he did it, he's been sentenced and the verdict was guilty, what Im asking is based on the amount of evidence you saw, would you have had sentenced him to death?

Human emotion gets in the way of things.

Prosecutors are supposed to "prove beyond a reasonable doubt" but in high profile murder cases there's too much pressure. Not just on juries but on investigators and prosecutors. Careers and promotions are on the line. The jury has to see the victim's family in the court room, everyone wants justice etc.

All too often an easy target gets pinned whether they're guilty or not.

with the lack of concrete evidence in this case, I think its absurd to issue the death penalty. I think he did it, but the evidence just wasnt really there.

At 40k a prisioner a year. He has about 60 more years of life so that means 2,400,000 of tax payer money has to be spent

Throw him in jail and throw away the key. Bread and water for the next sixty years of his life. Showers once a week. No TV, no radio, no newspapers, reading, anything. Just sit in a cell for the next sixty years on bread and water.
