Coder who can work with CCBill
I am looking for a coder who can help me out here. I have seen some other programs now that use CCBill to restrict access for trial members and i am looking to do this. It's quite simple, I don't want trial members to have access to the plugin feeds.
If anyone can help me out with this please hit me up and let me know your charge for setting it up. Thanks. icq: 278-457-533 |

I don't do much with CCBill , but looking through the code,
it appears that it doesn't pass a variable to tell the server it's a "trial". Simple kluge would be run the trial as a seperate site as far as CCBill is concerned. Limit access via htaccess. Then on a rebill have an hourly cron play back and forth with the two htpasswd files. Of coarse it's just me, but I would WANT trials to access the whole site so they get busy and forget/don't want to cancel. ...or get pissed off and charge back for not having full access. |
CCBill has a feature called datalink where they can send you details about every transaction - joins, rebills, cancelations, etc. for you to put in your own database. You can get their username plus initial sale amount and tell who is a trial member and who isn't that way. You basically get everything there is to know about your members except their credit card #.
