How to check when a page was cached in google?
I would like to see website that is in google was updated for the last time in google.
For example when I look in google for CNN it shows 11 dec last updated. But for many results there is no date. Any way to figure it out? Andre |
I dont understand what the fuck you're talking about. But if you want to see when a page was cached by google, download the google toolbar and under the information icon you can go to Cached Snapshot of Page" or somehting like that.
If you're trying to find out when was the first time it was cached, I dont really know if thats possible. |

When I search in google for the word CNN, I get many results. The first few results show me www.cnn.com/ - 56k - 11 dec 2004 www.cnn.com/WEATHER/ - 56k - 11 dec 2004 - In cache cnnenespanol.com/ - 43k - 11 dec 2004 etc etc So this means the 'cached" version is from this date as well. Now when I search for gofuck for example I see www.xplayn.com/index.php?id=2240&clanInfoId=7107 - 36k - gofuckyourself.com/showthread. php?s=&threadid=244010 - 101k - but no dates, and I need to figure out when this page was "cached" |
okay, so do what I said in the original reply, should solve your problem. :)
Download the google toolbar, and under the information icon it has a "Cached Snapshot of Page" icon. Or............. If you dont want to download the google toolbar, simply click on "cached" link next to the site in googles result page. At the top of the google cached page it has some information like this: Quote:
