met a model who wants to be paid for her own sets on her own site
I told her she was nuts -am I wrong?
oh and she owns the site and gets paid from it already.... |
Well yeah that doesn't make any sense.
|
Okay.... let me do all the work and you get paid for the session and make money on your site
:feels-hot NOT |
she said she expected to get paid for her updates from the money the site takes in since other girls who shoot for her get paid, so, so should she.
I about lost it when I heard that. of course that means less for everything else like paychecks andlall but what the hell she got paid..... |
charge her marketing fees then

tell her she has to pay you $350 an hour for your time. Bitch is whack.
|
Send her a bill for the work that you do. Of course adding that on top pf your site split. and see how she feels about that.
|
Tell her that if she wants to be paid for sets then she becomes a fixed wage employee and is not entitled to share the profits.

Models overestimate their worth. They're a dime a dozen.
|
I want to make it clear this was a new girl we were looing at - not the current ones we have, I just thought I needed to make that clear.
(save my butt there if there wasa miscommunication or 2 in interpitations.) |

You are not wrong ! |
What's with all the drama (and bigotry)?
If you can't meet a model's expectations (and/or visa versa), then it's a no go - this happens all the time. No big deal. As far as deals go, anything goes - upfront payments, royalties, bonuses, top billing, limo service and any combinations thereof. That's not to say that some combos just don't make financial sense for certain projects, but to start ragging on and whining about someone wanting more than you're willing (or practically able) to offer does not serve much purpose. Asking if front-end payment plus rev-share is above industry norms is a legitimate and important survey, but to imply she (the model) was doing something wrong or malicious by dreaming high is neither fair nor professional. If you can't afford what she asking and she is unable to accept compensation which better reflect your economics, move on... :2 cents: -Dino |
