I've noticed a lot of these services popping up of late. (Adult Consultation Services) I kind of think its funny when people with no real industry experience start this type of service.

Just because you make press releases about yourself and have a high post count, does that mean you are "experienced?"

Just because you know some people on ICQ does that make you "connected?"

Just because you can post on all the boards spamming your product does that make you more ?hirable??

How much business is actually generated from boards anyway? It seems as the same people lurk/post the same boards over and over again.

It seems a lot of these people in this industry take on a new job every 3 - 6 months and are fired. They then find another company to do leach off of and then the cycle continues. You would think if they did a good job for company A, they would be hired full time.

And, then you have those with experience and knowledge who don't play the homie hook up game.

Visionaries and idea people know to hire or retain the best and the brightest to ensure their company future. While they are ideating, they have experienced people coordinating their projects, offering valuable opinions and assisting with finances.

Kind of like G'd to Moses to the People. Or Consigliere to the Godfather.

The others buy lots of cars and fast women, drugs and fancy hotel suites....wear their money on their sleeves and show off.

The latter remind me of a July 4th firecracker. Big burst of colour. Fizzle. Death.

there is a lot of other boards you can do business on, that take things more seriously. i am sure you know that.

I'm not going to name any names. I've seen two of late that kind of made me laugh.

It is without question that there is lots of biz generated from boards. But, what about the webmasters who never visit them? What % of webmasters actually visit boards?

There are millions of porn sites out there, but not millions of webmasters posting. I would say board marketing is reaching only 35% of the webmasters. I have no idea where I got that number, I just threw it out. Has anyone done a survey of some type?

but they are smaller, I think you can get still the most biz from this board, but then again, I am really not sure how many webmasters board marketing is reaching, FHM said about 35% and I think the number might be even smaller, but I am really not sure

Most people are a joke, if you know how to do something you are going to go into business for yourself and prosper not tell newbies how to do it.
