I thought that Seymor Butts got arrested for making a fisting video a couple of years ago and went to trial. I may be wrong but I don't think he got conviced for that.

I thought that US based companies avoid fisting because they fear it will be found obscene in court even thought there is no statue that forbids fisting.

It's not illegal. It "can" be considered obscene in some parts of this country. Obscenity prosecutions are rare.
