Ah, shitty for ya Juicy. Hope you recover well.

You've probably heard it all before... try to get regular exercise, it help moderate the situation. I've also recently read something that suggests that mild hyperthyroidism can contribute to panic attacks... maybe get your blood electrolytes checked?

Or are you just repressing the memory of how much you enjoyed it when the aliens gave you an anal probe? :Graucho

:Kissmy :conehead :conehead :conehead

Makingcoin 12-12-2004 01:35 AM

Sorry to hear that Juicy. I use to have panic attacks all the time at the clubs, drove me to the point of not even wanting to go out clubbing. What meds are you taking at the moment? I was taking paxil for about a year and it all of a sudden stopped working. I recently switched to celexa and it has been working like a charm.

I had some serious irrational fears when I stopped smoking cannabis ..+ insomnia...
just chill out and don't think too much about it :)..yeah, and I know that is not easy. ;p..but chill.

nikad 12-12-2004 09:13 AM

I ve had PAD for 10 years now, started at 20 yo. I dare saying that somewhere you were feeling insecure cos you are cutting the Xanax.
Just take a deep breath and keep on doing wot you like to do - clubbing for instance - it happened yeah but it won't necessarily happen next time.
:thumbsup Nik

Juicy dude...

If your serious listen carefully...
Meet me in Vegas I will de program your problem in a 20 minute conversation.

Yes you will still have anxiety attacks, but I will tell you how to ride them out.

You will always have anxiety attacks. They wont stop but learning how to handle them is the key.

Holly 12-12-2004 11:19 AM

It's amazing how many people here have them. I've never experienced it but I have a friend who used to have it happen a lot when we were younger. Her hands would draw up, too. I think that was before people really knew what it was because everyone always called it "hyperventilating", lol.

I was on paxil for a while, worst part was getting off of it: the side effects of withdrawal were HORRIBLE

alias 12-12-2004 12:01 PM
