Mandalay Bay Not Sold Out
 

Just a heads up for anybody who is hoping to stay at the Mandalay Bay. I was surprised that i just picked up two rooms for the show dates. I was expecting it to be sold out. So you've still got time to book a room :)

Do you realize how big that place is??

They will eventually tell everyone it is sold out, and then raise the rate on a few that they held aside.

prices are still the same as they where when it was first annoucned :)

and prices almost X2 then the show rate...

Yep. Isn't Venetian bigger? Does the Venetian usually sell out during the show?

Yeah the 6th is sold out everywhere. I think that is a result of CES. I'm stuck catching a redeye back on the night of the 6th.

umm there are MANY MANY hotels around plus you must be talkin to the wrong people
some rooms are still open
and 100's of room become open on the show day aswell due to people not showing

I checked on their site...I guess when I'll just ask if they have more rooms...

It's not the porn convention selling out the hotels every years, it's other, much bigger conventions during the same date. We are a relatively small group.

I know Rictor :) That's why room rates SKY ROCKET on the 6th....CES

i dont think it ever sold out, only our group rate that sold out. the prices are much different.
