Buying an Mp3 player - Recommendations??

I am looking to buy a Portable MP3 player as a Xmas gift. After looking around a bit I see almost all of them have drawbacks. The Ipod is on top, but its too big to use as a workout/jogging tool.

Whats a nice one for on the go people? It doesnt have to be HUGE in storage... Who the hell needs to walk around with 5K songs anyway? Are they walking around the world?

:)

iPod all the way dude!

I just got mine a few weeks ago and I use it to work out, have had no trouble. You just need to find a good place to stash it.

ipod is OK but keep in mind that the batteries will only last about a year under normal use and you can't replace them yourself. That makes ipod completely useless in my opinion.

I have not run across an arm strap for the regular model, (which is what I have) only the iPod mini.

If you know of one though I would really like a link if you can find one, I may be interested in getting one.
