Just take a look at the road Abe Lincoln took:

In 1831, Lincoln failed in business. In 1832 he was defeated for the legislature. In 1833, he failed again in business. In 1834, he was elected to the legislature, but in 1835 his sweetheart died and by 1836, he was suffering from severe mental and nervous problems. In 1838 he was defeated for Speaker. In 1840 he was defeated for elector. In 1843 he was defeated for Congress. In 1846, he was elected to Congress but lost reelection in 1848. He was defeated for the Senate in 1855, defeated for the vice-presidency in 1856, defeated again for the Senate in 1858, and in 1860, he was elected President of the United States.

People mistake needs with wants. The definition of wealthy is never wanting what you do not have. We all have what we need. It's what we want that bothers us.

If you can dream it, you can make it so. Embrace and honor your dreams. Dream it and it shall be.

Attitude is the minds paint brush. It can pain any situation. If you have the right attitude, you will have the right altitude.

if Lincoln would have taken all that as a sign he should look for work elsewhere maybe he wouldn't been shoot in the head.

thats not a good record.
