Photoshop CS and free transform
Does anyone know why when i use free transform on photoshop CS any rendering I make has very jagged adges.. its like a jig saw..

have you got antialiasing activated when you draw it?

Also could just be preview mode... did you accept the changes?

Unless what you're transforming is a Vector object (Pen tool, Type tool, Shape tool before Rasterizing), you'll always get some jagged edges.
Try: selecting the object contract by 1 pixel (select>modify>contract>1) inverse the selection (select>inverse) and apply a very gentle Gaussian Blur (filter>blur>gaussian blur, about .2-.5 radius) This usually makes things a bit easier on the eyes. |
