Re: Problem

Just to let everyone know Level3 is experiencing routing problems through BGP connections which are at 85 10th Avenue, New York.

We are working on resolving the problem by rerouting the traffic through our other providers, including Verio and AT&T.

The BGP problem caused was a result of negative packets being sent to our network through their routers.

We are working with Level3 to resolve the problem while restoring connectivity through our other providers and will be crediting everybody affected as promised in our standard SLA.

I will be posting more information about this as soon as there is a further update.

For questions please contact us at 718.421.7835, 866.WHOA.NOW.

Thanks.

Dont worry about likewhoa and the Level3 Shit

Everything is up once again...
----
One of our major backbone providers was experiencing a poisoned BGP route. You're probably asking yourself, what is a poisoned BGP route? Well it causes the BGP session to terminate and traffic is not allowed through. We have resolved this issue permanently, please let us know of any current concerns that you have.

Thank you,

Whoa Support
----

All clients will be sent a formal e-mail explaining the problem and issuing credits...
As mentioned above, the problem is permanetely eliminated with upgrade to our code on routers.

I have no experience with this provider, but I am impressed with how they have handled this downtime.

A formal email explaining the problems, maybe techiemedia should take some lessons http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/wink.gif
