Need help !
If I have a domain, say www.blabla.com and I need to set permissions for a folder in order to have people view the content (files), how the fuck do I do that ? e.g. www.blabla.com/dirtywhores/ .htaccess ? Apache ? httpd.conf ? Thanks |
I think what you want for setting permissions is chmod. You should be able to set the permissions from your FTP program (I use CuteFTP which makes it easy, you just right click on a folder and the menu that comes up has a selection called "CHMOD". The window that comes up is pretty simple to figure out, and if you set everything to read, write, execute, ( 777 ) then everyone will have access)
hope this helps, Bruce |
Did that, didn't work.
But thanks anyways. |
And here is a cool link that explains CHMOD, plus there are all sorts of tutorials for javascript, html etc.:
