Do you think it would be worth a shot? Show the surfer what he'll get? Discuss..... |

thats too big.
640x480 dvd res is fine. You will get big file sizes and i doubt it will increase conversions but it will increse BW. Duke |

Um, 720x480 isn't the right aspect ratio. It comes off the DV camera onto a computer like that because it's expecting to be played on a TV screen which has different shaped pixels then a PC monitor making it 640x480 aspect ratio when viewed on a television. If it's gonna be viewed on a computer you want to make it 640x480 or 320x240 or something in the correct aspect ratio. Haven't you noticed that everything is streched sideways on the native 720x480?

Only South Korea has the bandwidth per capita to handle the huge broadband aspect of the big rez but get ahead of the West and take care of biz

I don't really care about the etra B/W as long as the sales are there. We're only talking twice the file size anyways. The reason I said 720 x 480 is that's what is available inside my members area. (along with 160x120 & 360x240)
I just think the wow effect of a larger & clearer picture would be a great selling point. and Mr Pheer, the 16:9 would be cool! Maybe I'll start shooting in 16:9 wide screen format. The Sony VX will do that but I have never tryed it. |
