OR even better, I'd do my best to make him as happy as possible (offer him $500 for every bucket he scores) and build up demand for him amongst other teams then trade his ass for someone on the A list. I mean Shareef Abdur-Rahim carrer average is around 20 points per game same goes for Carter. A good change of scenery and he goes back to "a list"

Vince carter was still the most popular vote for the All Star game. Everybody knows he isnt happy in toronto, so if you're looking to dump him... u gotta realize he is still A-List in terms of fan recognition.. Who else is A-List? Allen Iverson, Shaq, Kobe, LeBron, McGrady, Steve Francis, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash (IMO), Stephon Marboury (maybe) who else? yanno, im talkin big names... if they played their cards right they could get some top names. You cant really build a team around sharief, he's solid and all, but you dont build a team around him IMO.

No one in their right mind would trade those players for Carter. Even if Carter was leading the league in points... he has too much baggage

Rahim may not be A-list per say but that's the type of talent you'll get back.

And I don't even think they'll get back talent like Rahim.. It'll probably be a package of players, for him.

That's where I see it differently, you could get someone with name recognition for carter easily if you played your cards right. It could be a package deal like carter, rose and say..... bosh. But you'd just have to paint a good picture for carter, numer one voted all star, puts up 25 points a game (out the side of your mouth: when he's happy) etc. From there you can get players like the above listed (assuming they were looking to trade).
