Good wireless switch/router and laptop card? Recommendations?
 

I have the Linksys 2.4 Broadband Router and the card it came with. Its not bad but it bounces the connection once and hour or so. Faster speeds would be nice too. Also, it only reaches about 40-50ft.

Any recommendations for the home?

got the same here, at least 100 feet and its full of electronics crap here sending 2,4ghz signals and not bouncing anything, havent resetted it for like months, so you might wanna check...

Thanks man. Its weird. It will lose connection and then not even be able to see the router. 2mins later with no changes its back up and fine. Diagnostic program says the card is fine and it can see other routers on my block.

Running netgear at home and in the office, not too many problems really, just the off reset every once in a while but otherwise its been pretty solid.
