No wonder so many US soldiers have been blown to pieces in Iraq. Thanks to Bush's tax cuts for the rich and miscalculations there is not even enough money to give the soldiers a decent equipment...

95% of the vehicles in their unit didnt have armour

I was just watching a show on Discovery Times today about Army Reserve troops going to war in Iraq. Was called "Off To war" it's a 3 part series following a Army Reserve group and their lead up to Iraq and once they got there.

This series was filmed in 2003 and they were complaining about no armor then as well. They showed the troops actually digging through the scrap piles looking for steal to put on the doors of their trucks. They used scraps of steal, old bullet proof jackets and sandbags on the truck floors for protection.

This unit had something like 75 trucks and only 4 were armored. These guys were not as both Bush and Rumpfucker claimed only driving the trucks "on base" and not in the field. Once again our administration has proven itself a ling bunch of scumbags.
