G3X: Sub-Accounts. What are they? How do I create one?

Today I wanted to overview the G3X Sub-Account funcionality. I broke it down from scratch. If anyone has any questions, please fire away. I will get all your questions answered.

-----------------

Creating sub-accounts is your solution to managing multiple accounts. If your business is one of the many businesses that utilizes partnerships or multiple accounts, then the G3X sub-account solution is for you. The concept is simple: you create accounts under you with your choice of either replicated banking information or independent banking information; you pay the sub-account a percentage of the sales derived from that sub-account.

Of course, a diversity of reasons exist for creating sub-accounts, ranging from streamlining traffic to paying business associates or employees.

Creating a sub-account with G3X is easy using our interface. Here is the process in a nutshell.

1) Accounting

Login into G3X and then click on Account Info located on the left tab.

You will notice that your Master Account shows up by default titled Main Account. We are going to add accounts underneath that Master Account now. To add the Sub-Account underneath of your Master Account, click on Add Sub-Account located above the accounting info in the center of the page. One thing I would like to mention before I proceed is that Sub-Accounts can never change Master Account information, nor do they have access to them.

2) Sub-Account type

The next page allows you to set up the Sub-Account.

You will now need to choose between a Regular or Shared Sub-Account. The Regular Sub-Account gives only you access. I am going to set up a Shared account. If you look above, you can see I checked the Shared Account radio button. Below the radio options, you will notice that you can choose the name, password, board alias and percent for the new account; if you were to choose Regular, you would only need choose the name. Most of the options are basic, the Percent option is however a bit unique; this is where you must decide how much money you would like paid out to this specific account. For example, if you choose 100%, you are giving all the signups that are sent through that account to the Sub-Account. If you choose 50%, you are giving them half while the other half is routed into the Master Account.

Once you complete the aforementioned fields, you now have the option of keeping the banking information the same as the Master Account, or putting in new information. If you choose to put in new information, G3X will payout that account separately. This eliminates you having to send money to the Sub-Account.

3) Account is now active

At this point, you can send the user / pass information to the Sub-Account holder. They can now login to G3X.com directly and get tours or view stats. Again, they can't see any of the Master Account information.

Now log back onto the main accounting page and under the Master Account, you will now notice the new Sub-Account added. Looking at my screenshot, you will notice the one I just created is the third account down. It is marked as shared and notes the percent I set.

4) Sub-Account link

Now that the Sub-Account is live, you can direct traffic specifically to that link. Go to the Marketing Suite (tab located on left nav bar). On the bottom left hand side, you will notice a drop down menu for Sub-Accounts. In this screen shot, I have the new Sub-Account already set for the criteria.

Using the Search function, you will now be shown available G3X sites to promote. Simply click the Promote this Site tab.

Once you click the Promote a Site tab, you are then given the independent link code.

I hope this helps out. Again, please do not hesitate in asking questions in this thread, or by contacting our staff directly.

Thanks,

Cory.

I've been getting quite a few questions regarding this option.

The % you set within each subaccount is the % payed out from that (your) subaccount. Not the from the Master account.

Your sub account(s) have nothing to do with your Master account.
