Playstation 2 sold out everywhere?
 

WTF is with the PS2's being sold out everywhere? Anyone know where to pick one up online? My brothers broke the other day and going to grab him a new one for xmas. All local places and the places I have checked online are all sold out. Ebay they are going for $200+ just for the machine.

Thats funny. PS2 has not met demand two holiday seasons now and still controls twice as much of the market as xbox and gamecube combined. I personally think xbox is way better but I'm not retarded and I dont orgasm for grand theft auto.

Apparently a 2 week closure of the suez canal held up a supply of PS2's for the christmas season. At least, thats what I read in a news report about it.

I could imagine Sony/game retailers not being too happy...

My ps2 has had it. We were planning to buy another one this month but we had a little earnings shortfall.

Plus we have to do some emergency home repairs.

Just call your local best buy or electronics boutiqe and ask when they are getting a shipment in and if they can hold on for you...I have had great success with this...

Game consoles suck. PC gaming is MUCH better quality. Not to mention those consoles that do get online have shitty pings.

gamestop.com has them in stock. it's the older ps2 not the new one though.

Yeah TX is comepletely out. BA Games had a list and told me it would be FEB before I could get one. WTF. I just got the original PS2.

Sony is so stupid, you know, the new PS2 has more features than the original, and it looks a lot different. If they called it a PS3, they would of tripled sales.

Yea i went to best buy to buy my son one.. Ive been calling everyday to see when they are coming in.. Im buy the fuckn warranty this time. My last one lasted 6 month, before we started getting disk read error..
