I'm on a very limited budget until I make a little more money from the biz, So I'm looking for the best option in hosting, Mainly I'll be submitting around 5-10 galleries aday, Not sure on how much bandwidth I would exactly need, But I do need about 1gb of space maybe not even that, Post me some places with low prices for what I'm looking for

:thumbsup start off with a virtual since it doesnt look like you know what your doing, when you start getting more traffic and can afford a dedicated then get a dedicated

Sly 12-08-2004 06:38 PM

You're new and submitting 5-10 galleries daily already?

If it were just 1 gallery daily I would suggest a shared package. But in your situation, you should go straight to a dedicated server. I have a couple older dedicated servers that work great for gallery hosting that I could give you a good break on.

If you're interested, grab me on ICQ at 147479144 or email me at [email protected] and I'll take care of you. Only at Phat Servers. :winkwink:

Sly 12-08-2004 06:40 PM

MrC, hit me up. I'll help you find the best solution whether its with Phat Servers or not, it sounds like you could use a little direction.

Yeah basicly 5-10, 2 movie galleries and 2 picture galleries on one program and then same with another program.

With movie galleries you're going to kill your bandwidth allowance with most shared packages. A dedicated server would give you a much better rate per mbps, BUT it will probably cost you more.

Don't be closed minded dude. Many of the best hosts won't conduct their biz on the boards, or they don't read every post on every board. There are some great hosts being mentioned and you should talk to them or you may be losing out on a great deal. Just my 2cents.:2 cents:

Dreamhost offers an excellent December reward promotion from here:
For the month of December, all new shared hosting sign ups are getting TRIPLE the normal bandwidth allotment on their plans... forever!
i.e. 120 GB/month for just $7.95/month, or 192 GB/month for $15.95/month - which is perfect for your gallery needs!
Plus the usual quality hosting, sites being always up and fast, with a great support. With a 91 day money back guarantee, you have nothing to lose!

You can find great serveradmins for ~50$/month nowdays. I think its better to spend your time working with other stuff.
