Tony Blair has rejected a call for an independent inquiry into the civilian death toll in the US-led war in Iraq.

He is ashamed of killing more in 2 years than Saddam did in 10 ....

he needs to get his head out of bush's ass.

Hell, look at the stalling the British government has been doing for years upon years into investigations of state sanctioned and assisted killings in collusion with union paramilitary forces in Ireland of republicans, nationalists, and catholics that just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Did anyone really think they'd launch an inquiry into something they can simply dismiss as collateral damage? Unlikely.

The British government's policy has always been to avoid the issue until it's forgotten.
