cezam 12-07-2004 08:05 PM

congrats man! :thumbsup

Napolean 12-07-2004 08:05 PM

wonder if i would gain any weight if i quit.. ive always been skinny and no matter how much i eat i never seem to gain weight.

might be 2 good things to come out of quitting when and if i decide to :)

doober 12-07-2004 08:06 PM

dont give up, and try to hit the gym a little bit. or do some excersice just to keep you active and get the lungs expanding so you can actually feel the benefit of not inhaling that shit day in day out. It will make you feel better about quiting and just plain ol make you feel better to be alive.

good luck

:thumbsup

did quitting affect your work much? ive thought about quitting but im always so busy im afraid that anxiety and such from withdrawel would have an impact on my ability to do my coding.

poisson 12-07-2004 08:08 PM

On that note, I am over 60+ employees and I have been a real ball buster the last 2 weeks. Not being a ass on just anything just havent been cutting no slack. Thank GOD for xanax or I would not have made it.

Congrats... I had bad withdrawal symptoms when I quit. crazy headaches and frequent nose bleeds. Keep it up it'll be worth it in the long run.

detoxed 12-07-2004 08:20 PM

fatass

JJSLIMM 12-07-2004 08:23 PM

Hitting 10 months no smoking in 4 days.. How many times have you tried to quit? If you are in a pattern of trying to quit I suggest you focus on work, excising and lock yourself down for awhile. Try not to do anything that you relate to smoking for awhile either.. Fuckit eat all you want.. its better than smoking at this point and you need to get though 4 weeks of hell!!

Make things easy on yourself man...Quit partying and or drinking until you feel confident enough to not fall for the urges when your fucked up..THat way you not posting this same message in a couple months.

Good job..live or die is what you should be telling yourself every time you feel like smoking again..

Congrats!

RainMailer 12-07-2004 08:30 PM

I will not ever smoke another cig. I made a promise to my son I intend to keep! I cant believe I ever smoked before cigs are just fuckin horrible. I guess I will just have to deal with not being able to see my dick because of this fat ass gut im getting. Anyways I will live a longer and healthier life.

Way to go!!

I had the addiction for twenty-years ... kicked it cold last year and rarely look back.

The want will more or less always be there, greater than any drug, but you must be a fricken oak

Keep it up ... or out.

axelcat 12-08-2004 12:33 PM

kowntafit 12-08-2004 01:02 PM

The important thing is that you keep it up. No point quiting for 4 weeks, as stupid as that sounds people actually say that. Be strong. :thumbsup
