- Frequent Updates to the Members Area! (3 times per month) with a preview of the upcoming updates.

- High Quality and Exclusive Content.

- Knowledgable and Swift Customer Service.

- I know a lot of people that don't like super "busy" sites that look like clusterfucks that are hard to navigate, so EASY TO NAVIGATE.

- Live Cam girls co-branded to the site as an upsell, the member may feel like he won't be able to talk to the girl anymore if he leaves the site. (I'm on the fence with this one.)

...... and on the flipside, to get webmasters to join and consistently send quality traffic to bring in the retaining members:

- TONS of QUALITY Promo Material. (FPA, HPA, Banners and Hosted Galleries. (QUALITY BEING KEY).

- Reasonable Payouts, and a variety of payout options. (i.e. Hybrid, PPS or RevShare)

- Good and knowledgable customer Service with quick and accurate replies.

- Weekly or Bi-Weekly Payouts.

- Program Run by NATS (I'm bias, but I know a few agree with me.)

content content content. it's all about the content quality and how much of it they get on a regular basis. Filler content is nice but it's the site's themed content that matters. Deliver what you promise.

Deliver what your promise already. I went into a cheerleader site some time ago and it was nothing but feeds from other companies. That's not what a member signed up for. If you have cheerleaders on the front page of the tour, put cheerleaders in the damn site already.

And extras. After you deliver what you promised on the tour, give them something similar - and lots of it.

I also think the MAIN part about having good retention is updates updates updates especially giving the members what they ASKED for! as long as you give them what they were looking for in the first place and have frequent updates there should be no excuse as to why you wouldn't have good retention :glugglug

yup :thumbsup we do, every week new series always exclusive always good looking girls and crisp clear pics, members appreciate that, rather 50 nice series then 500 crappy ones

I would say that daily updates with fresh unique new talent is key, tons of plugins, etc.
However, there comes a point in which the effort and expense to help keep members outweighs its benefits. Sure i could spend 100k a month on content but willl that increase my numbers to 80% retention? I doubt it. I'm happy with 40% and spending a fraction of that in content.
There comes a point where its litterally throwing money out the window.

tons of updates is very important. I rarely get any complaints. Maybe 1 in 2 months??? Its usually their browser problem.

Well Being that I run my own amature site and its just me on it I offer this:

Weekly updates, usual sets have between 50-100 exclusive pictures.

BBW only Guest Models. I run a BBW site, so people on it dont want to see some skinny chick..

Alot of sites offer extra content inside and it has absolutly nothing to do with the theme of that site.

Very Easy Navigation.. All pages have header and footers


If something comes up and an update will be delayed or what not post a note so people will know whats up

it really is all about providing an experience they cannot get anywhere else!


we creat a lot of exclusive content ( even beyond porn) to do that

original ideas will keep them coming back

if its the same thing you can get anywhere else why stay when you can go dee how everyone else does it
