I start a simple thread about the joys of cheese and am then accused by boneprone of being the Anal Hobbit. This is ever so wrong. I am not the Anal Hobbit. I only wish I was. I fear and respect the Anal Hobbit. He once pulled me out of a V.C. death pit back in '68. Ever since then, I've watched for him and his deeds. After he saved me he went on to single-handedly win the Vietnam Conflict, but forgot to tell anyone, and when communications break down...well you can judge the rest from history. Then, upon his return to the states, over a large pile of reefers, he convinced Ross Perot to let him be a silent partner in his financial ventures, but made the mistake of trusting him and got screwed. Then after completing his term as Undersecretary of the Interior during the Carter administration he went out of my life and out of the public eye. Now I'm told the Anal Hobbit is living in peace in a box behind a 7-11 in Oakland, CA, sniffing mothballs for a cheap buzz, practicing Zen archery and talking to cats. So in conclusion, please boneprone, please...stop defaming such a great man by trying to convince people I am he. I am not he. I only aspire to reach that peak. To achieve that kind of inner "Anal Hobbitness". Leave the Hobbit in peace. The occasional offering of mothballs and cat-food is welcomed, otherwise, he just wants peace. So let it be written, so let it be done.
