I have some domains in their queue for the WLS if/when they ever rolled it out.

Just got a message from them:

Suspension of Next Registration Rights Service

Due to our concerns about the continued delay in the launching of the underlying service by the designated registry, we are suspending the pre-order sign-up process for the Next Registration Rights service until a firm launch date is confirmed.

We will maintain the current information we have on file for your pre-orders and will contact you in the future if a launch date is announced. At that time, we will ask you to confirm your decision to continue with any pre-orders previously submitted by you. Your pre-orders will not be processed and you will not be charged, at any such future time, without your prior confirmation.

In the meantime, we encourage you to consider placing a backorder for those currently registered domain names you are interested in registering for yourself, including those for which you have previously submitted a Next Registration Rights pre-order. We have partnered with SnapNames to bring you an enhanced backorder service that allows you to submit a backorder for any currently registered domain name in certain top-level domains. You only pay if the domain name becomes available and SnapNames is able to successfully fulfill the backorder for you.
