i dont understand webmasters that want the quickdeal out, take the money and run. rev share is much better. when the sites retain you make more money. if a site retains and you send lots of traffic. you make so much more. i just dont understand people that would rather have pps than revshare

There is a lot of truth to that. We had one affiliate who had his payout set to a 100$ minimum, he send two joins, and after a few months ? he got a check. Those 2 joins were worth over 50$ a piece and one is still rebilling.

What PPS program is going to give you $50 per join?

I went to the State of the Industry seminar in Santa Monica a few months ago. They had a great panel including Lenman, Mike Price from Silvercash, and Tony Morgan of NatNet. They were talking a lot about how much less of a profit margin is in running an affiliate program these days because of diminished exit traffic, Visa regulations, smarter surfers who cancel quicker, and spam regulations.

In a nutshell, they said the days of the $35 PPS on a trial may not be here for long, but none of the major sponsors wants to be the first to ?step down? and look like they were defeated.

We do plan on doing PPS, but it will likely be a $25 payout on a trial.

Yes, the free sites are one of the most overlooked promotional tools available from OCCash. We even include titles and descriptions. I just open 2 windows and drag and drop them into linkadmin.

We plan on rolling more freesites out as quick as we can. I'll make a note to pick up production. :)

non-trial paysites can convert the same like the ones with trial, so with revshare you can get more than $25 even with shitty retention...

That statement is 1000% wrong. We started out using no trials and our ratios were not that great, now that we have trials the conversions are 3-4 times better.

Trials always convert a lot better for me then fulls. I guess it depends on the niche and your traffic. Have you tried trials at all with nextdoorcash?

Over 100% of the initial sale, ever if it is a trial, does not work for you? Read my post further up this thread - maybe it will make more sense to you. Plus, I'm not going to say anything about anyone specific, but there are "methods" a lot sponsors use to get you $35 that would piss you off a lot more than 25$.

Maybe you're just used to eating TGP traffic and dont know what quality traffic is, but the #s i see on reality / video sites these days can work just fine with 35$ PPS

In reality is all comes down to either working with valume on smaller margins or working with big margins on small valume. you decide whats best for you.

We've been crunching the numbers and if we threw out $35 on trilas we would probably be losing money because we don't SHAVE. I'll put our @25PPS against anyones $35 and we can comepare the EPC. You'll see then.
