Now I'm fucked
 

I woke this morning with birds singin' outside on the deck, the smell of gourmet coffee brewin', fine music and good humor on my favorite rock station, and ProAdult deleting my domain and every one of my sites along with it because their admin screwed up and saw it as an area that had nothing uploaded to it.

They're gone.... every last fucking one of them.

Now the music is getting louder, I'm pouring bourbon instead of coffee, I killed the stupid fucking big mouth bird, and my headache is growing to enormous proportions.

You might be better off keeping control of your domains. Host them yourself, or if your overloaded, pay for some additional hosting.

Yeah.... I got 'em. I'm a backup fanatic. But they deleted my whole fucking account. Domain, active sites, and all... I can't even re-upload them. No access, and nowhere to put them. I gotta start all over. I've already emailed their admin with, what should've been a little less hostile message.

Damn i hate shit like that.
Remember smutserver's fuck up last month, they had problems for a few days.
Half of my galleries were deleted when the account was working again. Those were galleries which received traffic and new galleries i submitted.

This is exactly why I do not trust these fucking hosting companies as far as I can shoot my load. I've been fucked by more hosting companies than past wives.

Well, they got till noon to fix it. After that, I can easily slap a new doorway on 'em for someone else.

Looks like I better make some more room on the ol' nameserver again.

that sounds very bad. I try to have a mirror of my sites on my disk, so the only thing I will have to do is to hit upload. But, then again you have to set permissions for scripts, create mysql dbases.....

I got the sites Soul... that's no problem. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/wink.gif But they deleted the whole damn account and everything, so I can't upload anything. I can't even connect. "Please note that your account has been permanently deleted and you can no longer use it."

I've had endless problems with these guys since I started with them... it took them a week to get me the right login to the right server... 4 weeks to figure out how to set up a simple htaccess file, and they wouldn't let me have access to do it myself. The guy is probably shitting his pants right now wondering how the hell he's gonna fix a permanently deleted account.

Well fuck 'em. I got the tools, talent, and technology... I'll fix this shit myself once and for all.

Okay... before this goes to an extreme level and the ProAdult people come in and start calling me an asshole, I want to stop flaming ProAdult right now. I like ProAdult's AVS service. This was a fuck up on the server side of their operation, (redclouds) that apparantly somehow my domain based sites got mixed into the other stuff and deleted by accident.

In any case, I've fixed it. Just waiting for DNS to propagate back to me. This is gonna cost me a couple days of being down, and what's worse, it's gonna be over the weekend... but this is the last lesson I need from my adventures in remote hosting. How much traffic did you have on your sites total Amp? If it was anything less than 5K, you can consider it a no loss and start over much cleaner and more experienced.
