Ibill Customer Service just hung up on me

Last week they told me I'd have my $$ by monday at the latest. Today I called them to ask what this week's excuse is going to be. When I mentioned my attorney, the bitch hung up on me.

Their fucking incometence has cost me. My sales have gone down 50%. Customers are complaining and canceling. My partners are bitching. I am behind on some of my bills and creditors are calling. If they fuck up my credit rating, I am going to fucking sue. I think I'm going to sue them anyway. FUCK THIS SHIT!

dirtysouth 12-06-2004 05:58 PM

When I worked in the corp. world I was instructed to hang up if I heard the word "attorney". :2 cents:

Sorry to hear about your troubles with them. :(

d00t 12-06-2004 06:22 PM

sorry to hear your experience with ibill was so dismal.

I think we've all had our problems with them over the years.
Not sure how much longer they will last though? Everyone seems to be switching from the looks of things on this and other boards.

if you want a paycom/epoch account, hit me up i can get you a sweetner deal :)

How infuriating was that

Ibill is so full of shit. There was no "declined ACH" payment on my account, there wasn't even an attempted payment like the worthless CMI updates say.

When you call to ask about it, the message says "Our associates can't and won't tell you anything more than what's on the CMI" what the fuck kind of customer service is that?

It boggles my mind how they treat their clients, "Thanks for standing by us as we continue to whack you in the back of the head with this stick".

Sorry to hear you are having a little trouble :-)

Assuming you were not rude to this person, does he/she not have the common sense to get a hold of someone who can answer your problem in the true spirit of "customer service"??

Assuming again, that you are owed a lump and this is not some peanuts exercise, and before you waste more time and money on suing them - get a hold of, - assuming he is still there, - Kevin Cunningham who laid claim to being a prime customer liason rep. Failing that, get a hold of Charles Prast who, at least check, was supposed to be the CEO or, if he has his ass on the move, the CFO.

Any one of these people should be able to convey, in simple English, the situation regarding the money owing. It is not in their interests to screw you around, - if they do, immediately let your situation be known - it is probable some others may be interested in a class action if it appears that is worth the effort.

But hell, if this bullshit conduct and lying continues from iBill much longer - it may be worth a more basic criminal inquiry and stop the corporate bullshit verbal, "it's in the post" promises and general lying.

I'd strongly suggest you retain every email from iBill, any correspondence, contemporaneous notes of any telephone conversations blah. They all have a use :-)

Yes, and most will not engage you in conversation again after you claim to have consulted with an Attorney, which is the smart thing to do. People throw around legal threats so quickly these days, it's hard for people to tell whom is serious.

BUMP

MandyBlake 12-06-2004 08:54 PM

I got my money from them today.
I suggest you contact your account rep instead of customer service.
They will probably have more information or at least will be able to find info out for you.

Veterans Day 12-06-2004 08:56 PM

Ibill is fuckin useless. If they make mid year 2005 I would be shocked, fuck em.

first off seeing 13 posts I doubt you are real and nothing but a ad for another company (you can all guess who) . My ibill sales have been fine no customers complianting and why would they cancel because of ibill. We got paid today ,the amount they stated. I think the thought that ibill has climbed this hill has pissed people off who thought one less company to compete against.

The problem is they are not paying the funds owed so far.

There are plently webmasters still waiting despite promises and "scheduled delays" announced by iBill.

This storm is not braved until all creditors are paid in full.

I for one, am on the verge of wasting a lump of cash in a legal action - not that I expect to gain or get paid, - just on principle and to terminate the bullshit promises.

Any business of the supposed worth of iBill is in no position to have a crap rep - else they have nada business.

If they are unable to raise temporary funding on supposedly secured assets held by banks to enable payments to clients - there is some problem, - or they should not be in that business and need to quit now.

unfortunately there are still some who will sign up with them in Vegas - and even though they have put webmasters out of business and some have even lost their homes - they will still pretend to be webmaster friendly

respect is earned - but apparently even their banks are withholding that too

MickeyG 12-07-2004 08:27 AM

I FINALLY got my ACH payment today!!

Paycom made it out of a similar situation and I can only hope ibill will too. :thumbsup

I must say that even though they had those issues this year, it''s not their fault that some people went out of business and lost their homes.
We didn't get paid for a while just like a lot of other people, but we had backup money. People need to start treating their business like an actual business and stop living check to check.

Thank you people are short sighted , less competition is a bad thing. If there is one processor left standing whats to stop them from charging 30% if they are the only option.

Also people just love to bitch you have a short memory talk to the globil people. Who got nothing. People crying I got the check but it was 5 days late, things get fucked up it happens at the worse time but you did get paid from a company that people said wouldnt last til the end of October. Shit happens in business , these companies are not citibank and if you think if one of the others got hit hard that everyone would get pay immediatlely your kidding yourself.

scardog 12-07-2004 09:51 AM

If Ibill was not planning to stay in business, what would be the point in paying out anything at all? Maybe they won't make it, maybe they will. A couple of months ago, people were screaming about how they were ripping them off. People were saying that they were processing offshore and were going to screw the webmasters.

Now they are screaming the check is late! Jeez, guys, if they are gonna go out, there is nothing you can do about it. If you get paid, and it is late, then rejoice that it came at all. The problem they had, which they may have created for themselves, was huge. Any money I get from them, I am thankful that they are still around!
