What are the biggest adult paysites that don't have an affiliate program?
Well, the topic says it all :D
|
Qmov.com doesnt have one, or at least - its invite only
|
the affiliate business model has plusses and minuses.
one of the problems of the affiliate business model is content saturation and diminishing returns. by that i mean, the population of world wankers is fairly static---and it is only possible to produce a certain amount of new original content over a given period of time. so the big player produces the content, uses the affiliate system to promote, exposes the content in a very broad way, and satiates the market. unlike other things once a wanker has seen something, and splashed his load from it, it no longer is so valuable. so the big player, creates content, gives away half his profit, and then immediately does the cycle over again---like a dog chasing it's tail. some smaller volume boutique type niche paysites have no affiliates at all, keep all the signup money, and have a very high ROI; part of this is due to relatively low market saturation, and a longer shelf life for the content. |

yes, exactly my point. beautiful original content that not many surfers know about. probably no affiliates, and this content will have a very long shelf life. and i'll bet this site has very high ROI. lots of guys think the only thing that sells online are rough exploitative hardcore. there is a HUGE market of surfers who actually like girls. |
brutalblowjobs.com has 8 other sites and i dont see a link for a webmasters aff. anywere.

I see TeenPinkVideos.com all over the place...

No one mentioned quiet yet

many affiliates = many sales in a short period of time no affiliates(no paid spots) = many sales(or not) in a very long period of time So, yes, with no affiliates, you will have better conversions, but less traffic and you will need more time... So whats better? To make the money in 6 months and have an oversaturated site or 6 years and still have a fresh site? |
there are lots of very successful paysites with no affiliate program - well many of them have an affiliate program but they don't promote them much and don't rely on them at all - some only offer like 20% revshare.

Just one bump :winkwink:

At the moment most people over 50 don't even know how to surf for porn. In 20/30 years time people like us will be the over 50s and the under 50s will be computer literate, so EVERY age group will be a porn consumer! Plus not everyone is online yet - when the whole world has got broadband our market will be bigger. So I don't think oversaturation is such a problem, there are plenty of fresh wankers to sell porn too. :) |
alscans does not have an affiliate deal I don't think. And no one mentioned Sleazies. His has to be pretty big, I see it everywhere.

and I think they are HUGE! and have hot ladies. |
There's no such thing as oversaturation. There's is a such thing as undermarketing. A lot of guys have great sites but they forget how to make something old look fresh and new.
For instance in mainstream you have Publisher's Clearinghouse, The McRib, American Idol (Star search all over again) and many many other old tired ideas rehashed again and again. In porn you have Bangbus. Those guys constantly made the trailers and galleries look fresh and captivating even after we thought it had to be over. It's still not over, the affilliates may have a hard time but overall I bet the joins on it are as high as plenty of other program's flagship sites. Webmasters don't spend enough time coming up with fresh ideas when it comes to marketing their sites. If you really think about it, all the scenes are basically the same. It's all in the spin. |

http://suicidegirls.com has to be one of the better ones. I have no clue how many sales they make but by looking at there site set up I'd imagine they retain the members. Their membership is pretty cheap though so who knows how much they pull in.
|
I waited for the issue of ROI to come up, it has not so I will raise it.
How much can a program afford to pay for a $29 signup? Doesn't it make you wonder when you can be paid $50 for a $29 signup when average retention is 2 billing cycles? There comes a time when the cost of marketing exceeds the revenue stream. This was less of an issue when surfers could not figure out how to get a refund and did not chargeback. It is more of an issue in the <1% max chargeback days we are seeing now. This is business and if the program loses money it goes out of business. The realistic programs pay 20-25% per sale, a realistic cost of sale. Those who pay more have to get it someplace. THINK |
