tv-out card

is there a good video card that has perfect TV out quality suitable for watching movies on a tv from pc?

ATI All-In-Wonder-Pro or any of the Dazzle products work well. Also, if you have a MiniDV camcorder some of them will do analog out so you can push through the firewire port to the TV.

dazzle has tv-out products? I didn't know that. i'll look into it

The 2 units I have had from them were bi-directional because they allowed you to output the edited video back to a VHS, Hi-8, or MiniDV tape, so look for the Dazzle unit that has that. I'm not sure about the new ones, but I have/had (somewhere around here) 2 of the older ones and they both do it.
