Ive been there before for the convention but i really cant recall how the temperature was.

When I went to Vegas in 2003 the weather was ok. Cloudy but not cold. I could walk around with jeans and a t shirt. No jacket needed.

Oh and ehm last time Vegas was quite OK. A bit chillie every now and then so you might wanna bring a coat or jacket

Vegas is in the middle of the desert...

The desert is very much like the mountains during winter.
Cold nights.. colder mornings.. especially if wind is up.. and it always is...

The sun will feel warm in the afternoon if there are no clouds, but it will usually be pretty damn chilly...

If you plan on venturing outside.. or if you have booth setup.. you need a winter coat or at least a hefty windbreaker or sweatshirt. They usually do not heat the exhibit halls outside of show hours...
