...that really does not need anything but yet something that they would be pleased with and would actually use. I need ideas people...for both genders.

then they can get whatever they want.

I say get an Ipod. Everyone I know wants one. If they're into music they will be happy to have one.

All adults. All are financially well off... and have virtually everything that fills in their leisure time avocations...which is what makes it difficult.

How about a fine bottle of wine?

I do not want to provide a price range...but money is not a problem (within reason) if the idea is a good...though I don't want to be too extravagant.

or, if you have a bunch of photos from time you spent together, either an album or get them all put on a DVD with music dubbed in . . .kind of a "Your Life" kind of thing

DVD's, collectables, art, liquor, houseware (stuff from Bombay, etc.)

If they have everything and a gift card won't do. Get them a wine gadget and a nice bottle of wine that they can return :)
