Is WebAir any good?

I just signed up with them for hosting for my shopping cart, but after looking at their plans, I may be moving all of my stuff over. What can you guys tell me about them?

ace0r 12-05-2004 07:11 PM

i use them for some of my projects, no complaints, great support.

MandyBlake 12-05-2004 07:12 PM

We've had nothing but good experiences with Webair. They totally rock.

The Apprentice 12-05-2004 07:12 PM

How much do they charge you?

Dynamix 12-05-2004 07:13 PM

Nothing but a great experience thus far! No downtime as of yet, and great support. :thumbsup :thumbsup

MrIzzz 12-05-2004 07:14 PM

they are one of the absolute best hosts there is. thats why i have 30 sites with them, and mike is one hell of a guy

Spunky 12-05-2004 07:14 PM

Heard nothing but positives :thumbsup

pornguy 12-05-2004 07:15 PM

We had them for about a year, and had the worst support ever. Unanswered support tickets, Unanswered e-mail etc.

But a lot of people have never had an issue with them.

But before you marry your self to one company check out a bunch.

we prefer cyberwurx.com

Bigwilly 12-05-2004 07:17 PM

their uptime stats arent good, i have a virtual with them no problems as of yet. I wouldnt use them for a dedicated though :2 cents:

I assume you mean my current host?

Dollar wise, the cost would be the same, but Web Air seems to give more the money.

Jer 12-05-2004 07:25 PM

I use webair since 2002

I like cyberwurx for not requiring 1 year commitment...
they bill month-to-month. I take that as a good sign.

Nothing bad to say about Webair, they were on my short list when I picked out a new host.
I might still use them for some SE stuff later.

You've got to be kidding?? foundrynap isn't even in the same league as the established hosts that habg here, Jupiter, webair, isprime TechieMedia, NatNet mojohost and a few others....

Webair all the way huh! We have been with them for 4 years.

Wow that's a crazy thread still being reseller is not a bad thing, it's just a differant support person then the full hosting company and a little more risk.

I would take a reseller with differant reduntant teir one connections then a full hosting company that uses Verio Or Cogent, wich should even be considered tier one.

Just a reminder that magg got banned due to the 10+ threads about SP2 that he said was a mistake.
Lensman said he would be unbanned Monday, It isn't cool to have a free for all bash at his reputation when you know he can't defend himself.

I like webair

latinasojourn 12-05-2004 11:08 PM

when evaluating any host you must see how fast your surfers throughout the world can reach you, i.e. ping times, number of hops, etc.

my boxes are at webair.

Illicit 12-05-2004 11:09 PM

Ive been using them for over a year... no complaints

PrivateIvy 12-05-2004 11:11 PM
