Its not pathetic, because Im going through the same thing. Even though my ex didnt lie to me (as far a I know) he wasnt honest with his feelings, and rejected me so much that its hard to be able to put that same level of trust into someone else.

hang in there Paraskass it'll take some time but eventually you'll get over it, time does heal but it doesn't make you forget, so just don't rush into something new especially if you are feeling like you can't ever trust another woman... I'd tell u the hell I went through this year but whats the point, it's not gonna make me feel any better and sure as hell ain't gonna make you feel any better... just keep yourself busy with work and school and before you know it you'll be bitter...
