My MS Wireless Optical Intellimouse finally bit the big one this evening.

It lights up but whatever makes it track is fucked. Both the units have all the lights working, but it finally stopped taking orders during a game of gta.

I guess the fact that the paint was worn off on the finger and thumb spots was an indication it had been used alot, but that was about a year ago.

SAD. I'm on a trackball right now, its not too bad since its a brand new one i had that came with the dell, can't believe I even found it. It's just so weird to have the cord there......

Why must the good die so young?

It's sad, since this thing really is kind of an extentsion of my body.

I'm gonna order one of those logitech laser ones tonight.

When I saw the message subject I was going to suggest exactly that. Grab the Logitech MX1000, it's the shiznit.

It aint worth it if you already have a good working optical mouse, but definitely the way to go when it comes time to replace one.

i always order 2 intellimouse when i get them, so if one fucks i always have a quick replacement. They are prone to get fucked after about a year and a half
