mainstream traffic - how to target my interest group?
 

I'm making a website much like ebates or fat wallet. How do I advertise a site that helps people save every penny when shopping ? I dont know how to target penny pinches except those two sites and I doubt they will advertise their competitor. I can see the banner on ebates.com now... "Kard's cheap ass site is better than ours".

target them with keywords, link trading with other sites that arent as popular as ebates (better chance of getting trades).

I'm working on a cross promotion deal with a finance site that has a bit over 1 million subscribers.
