C_U_Next_Tuesday 12-04-2004 10:47 AM

I would surely go mad if I had to look at that from my window.

Get out of that damn dark house... get out in the snow (watch your step) and get some fresh air.

How is the ankle doing?

xclusive 12-04-2004 10:47 AM

the ankle is okay, not great, but definitely better. it's actually not dark, it almost blindingly bright from the snow lol. i have a friend over, we just got back in from sitting out on my patio and smoking a blunt :)

and it continues to snow. looks to be a truly perfect powder day. i know there is some great irony in all of this, haha.

many cheers :glugglug

eiht_98 12-04-2004 11:18 AM

do you like the snow Tala? as far as proximity, it was the entire reason i chose this place over others. i wanted to be able to step outside my door, throw on my snowboard and be on a lift. basically a life-long dream of mine. lol.

And now you can't even take advantage of it! Funny how that works. :)

Got room for one more? :)
The burton is ready to go! Damn nice view...

I LOVE snow. Being stuck in the south, we don't get much of it, but when we do, I'm like a little kid. Snow-frisbee is a lot of fun!

I have no idea how to snowski, (but waterskiing kicks ass), nor snowboarding, but I do plan to learn one of these days.

But to me, snow is beautiful, and I much prefer a cold climate to what I'm stuck with now. The one winter I spent in Great Lakes, IL was the most fun I've ever had in the snow. 6 feet of snow over 7 inches of ice, blizzard of '93. I had a BALL. People were staring at me as though I'd gone nuts, but there were snowforts, snowmen, snow angels, snowballs, and a lot of spiced cider drunk.

So yes, I'm terribly jealous. But it's okay. When I make enough money to be debt free and live comfortably, I will have a place where it SNOWS. :glugglug

The blizzard of 93 was crazy. I was 10, we were living at my grandparents at the time. School was out for what seemed like a week. Awesome times.

Want to swap places? I don't think I hate anything as much as snow. Got hurricanes? Earthquakes? Mosquitoes? Deadly spiders? No matter.. let's swap anyways.

Nice View, do you get sick of it though?

MonsterCock 12-04-2004 12:23 PM

You live very close to people that kind of sucks.

Indica 12-04-2004 12:25 PM

not so far. i've been deep into snowboarding culture and the mountains my entire life, so it is very natural for me. the view is of the 2010 olympic downhill run, so that's good for property value as well...

Not to mention that you've got good seats.

ProjectNaked 12-04-2004 12:48 PM

You need a Firecat, I'd rent you mine but sadly I sold it when I went south:(

(they are also good for running over "squatter" snowboarders who park-and-sit in the middle of the trail!)
:evil-laug

kmanrox 12-04-2004 12:53 PM

sell that shit in 2009 and make some serious margin, eh?

pornguy 12-04-2004 02:32 PM

I would have to say to take this as a reason to make more money. you can never have enough.

tranza 12-04-2004 02:36 PM
