I have that but it does not support .wmv and converting the .wmv into .avi is a pain in the ass.

G'day, Vanessa.. If I may, a little promotion for my good old Dad.
My Father, wrote a program and put it on his site http://www.mrtvideo.com/
I shall phone him tomorrow (it's 1am here)
and ask him if it does what you are asking.

I know he is a wiz at video editing and he is really good cause he enjoys doing it.

So tomorrow if your still around, I will reply again to share what he tells me.

Have a good day.

Spoke to my Father today, he said that AVIsynth and Virtualdubmod is a free download, and has all the docs inside.

He said that they will remove those black boxes on the oudside. I then asked if they would remove the black wavey lines, then he said something about GUI's graphic user interfaces and advised me best to mention about a support forum (which I can not tell you here) But on icq or email I can just send you the url.
He told me his program will not remove those black lines. AVIsynth serves the video to Virtualdubmod and then you will need smoothing scripts and filters to improve the quality of a video.

The current GUI's he has written do the following; Reverse, FlipVertical, Mirror Picture in Picture

He said that in the future more GUI's
to be added and he said maybe that will be something he will look at next.

Sum it all up, Smoothing and Filtering seems to be your answer.

So I shall wait to see where you want to go with this.

Have a great day!

Mark
