A Great Big THANK YOU To Rand, Chris, and the entire team At Epoch.....

For the wonderful gift that they just sent me !
It is a limited edition print of the Jaguar XJ 220 Super Car #2/100 by Harold Cleworth, probably the most well known automotive artist working today. The original of this was just completed a few weeks ago, so the prints are not even up on the site yet. All I can Say is THANK YOU , the gift was totally unexpected. I will have it framed and it will take a place of honour in my office, as a reminder of the many great people I have met in this business.

JFK - You are at every show and nearly every event this industry has. You are always documenting the festivities for everyone to enjoy. I know the entire webmaster community is appreciative of what you do. This was simply our way of saying thanks. (I couldn't help myself when I heard what a Jaguar fan you are) .

I hope you enjoy it.

"XJ220 that looks as if it might have been built for James Bond. It was produced in limited numbers in 1988 and sold to the likes of Elton John and Rod Stewart."

Mr. Cleworth is a very good friend of mine. Chances are you've seen his work before and not been aware of it. One of the paintings he did which received a lot of attention was of a Mercedes Gull Wing.

You can see it in the gallery section
here.

Kimmy - You, me, and Harold will have to get together again soon! He just finished somethng I'm dying to tell you about. He LOVED meeting you!

I am up for it any time he's around -- the man is one of the most incredible people I've ever had the luxury of sitting around shooting the shit with. :)

This is the first Ferrari. It was designated 002 because Enzo Ferrari disliked odd numbers!

Nice Rand ...... I saw one of those for sale back in the late 60's in a small garage in a small town..... didnt have a pot to piss in..... I was under age , but loved the car, it was white with red leather , and at the time ordinary folks didnt really understand the car, or what it would become in later years.
what dreams are made of......
:thumbsup
