looking to drop 50-100k into a brick and mortar business my dad can operate.

Start a used car lot.

Real estate, hire him as your property management for an apartment building.

You have good eyes on your investment plus very little chance of losing your shirt.

property management is a pain in the ass, i wouldnt want to put him thru the bullshit associated with it.

i want him to do something pretty easy and laid back..

he still plays poker, but he has been doing that shit all of his life.. the life or a professional poker player is ups and downs, time consuming and stressful...

brick and mortar? How about building materials? Equipment rental.

is that pretty solid and stress free? my dads friend has a check cashing and pawn shop business which does pretty well and not that much stress.

You could go with real estate, but rent offices to buisnesses. Much less stress than dealing with renting people homes. and you can make a nice profit with an office building or two.

guess it depends where you set it up. the places around here are always raking in the bucks
