domain.com works, www.domain.com doesnt
 

anyone know why a domain wouldnt work if you put the www before it, but it will if you dont use it?

sometimes it works with vvvvvv , 6 times v instead of 3 times www. Some oversea dns-servers cant figure that out. It depends on which binary system, and vvhich internet you use. Thanks.

Yeah, that what i thought.. i just checked though and it is set

What happends is when you type in www.domain.com it goes to the apache page.. but domain.com goes to the real site

then in your httpd.conf


set

Servername www.domain.com
Serveralias domain.com
